Viewing to be held for Rep. Yvonne Kennedy

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) — A public viewing is being held Thursday afternoon for Alabama State Representative Yvonne Kennedy.

Kennedy died Saturday, December 8 at the age of 67 after a brief illness.

The viewing will be held at 2 p.m. at Stewart Memorial C.M.E. Church at 1250 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue in Mobile.

A wake and memorial service will be held  Thursday at 6 p.m. at the same church, and an educational tribute will be held Friday at Bishop State Community College at 1 p.m.

Steve Alexander will have live reports on the viewing on FOX10 News at 4 and 5 p.m.
